Ruby Laine Apparel

Locally Designed Streetware

Self-expressive, affordable streetwear defines the brand, appealing to fashion-conscious consumers who prioritize comfort, style, and individuality. The collection includes hoodies, sweatpants, shorts, puffers, skirts, dresses, bags, accessories, and vintage denim, all designed by Ruby. As a design-driven brand, it focuses on experimentation, introducing new collections through small-batch drops and creative treatments like screen printing and embroidery. This approach offers endless possibilities in patterns and colors, catering to diverse fashion sensibilities.

The Ballard Collective

Original + Printed Artworks

The Ballard Collective brings together a curated group of Seattle artists creating distinctive, quality works across mediums. Rooted in Ballard since 2020, the collective has fostered a vibrant community of makers through exhibitions, events, classes, and collaborative projects. Following a devastating fire in 2025 that impacted many studios, members continue to create with renewed purpose, offering original artworks that reflect resilience, craft, and vision.

At Smål, The Ballard Collective presents a rotating selection of fine art pieces, inviting collectors and visitors alike to discover the creativity and dedication that define today's contemporary art scene.

Ballard FC &
Salmon Bay FC

Athletic Apparel & Merch

Ballard FC is a semi-professional men’s soccer team that we launched in December 2021. We play our home games at Interbay Stadium with an average attendance of 1,500 per game. We have grown an amazing following in the community and beyond and recently we launched our women’s team Salmon Bay FC! We sell tickets, sponsorship, merchandise, and youth programs. Our merchandise is sourced through different vendors depending on the product.

Noir Lux Candle Bar

Hand Poured Soy Candles

Noir Lux has grown from a pandemic passion project to a brick + mortar and community hub in short time. Our space is rooted in self-care, good vibes, and nostalgia, and each item that we curate is handcrafted in small batches, specifically with you in mind.

Our apothecary carries items crafted by small black vendors, as well as many of your Noir Lux faves.

Our candles are created with 100% all natural soy wax, and include high quality 100% phthalate-free fragrance oils. We use wooden wicks in our candles. We love the calming crackling sound that wooden wicks produce, but that's not all; wooden wicks are eco-friendly, they burn slower and last longer than cotton wicks, and they release fragrance better and faster.
